The formation of clubs and societies by students
help to enhance the intellectual, social and cultural
development of its members. The clubs develop talents
and leadership qualities in students, help the stuents
to work in teams and enhance national integration.
They also help to promote worhty use of leisure, ethical
character and the corporate life of the boarding system.
There are many Clubs and Societies in the School.
Students are expected to belong to at least one or
two of these clubs. Among the most popular clubs are:
The clubs hold meetings once a week.
Members normally pay a token levy to support the activities
of the club. Excursion fees may also be charged.
FIRST LADY HOSTS PRESS CLUB MEMBERS
The First Lady of Kaduna State Hajiya Asmau Makarfi
recently hosted the Press Club members of Imperial School
under the “ESES KIDS REPORTERS” in the Government
House Kaduna. The Club members were among students from
selected schools in the state who took part in an interactive
session with the First Lady during which she spoke extensively
on her pet project THE MILLENNIUM HOPE PROJECT.
This program caters for women and children especially
the “ALMAJIRIS” and other needy ones in
the society. The First Lady answered many questions
from the children especially in area of interest such
as the girl child education, etc.
The event was witnessed by several dignitaries including
the wife of the Deputy Governor of the State among others.
The session ended with a group photograph with the children.
