BASKETBALL:
The Nestle basketball competition for secondary schools in Nigeria kicked off in Kaduna state in March 2003. Imperial School has advanced to the second stage of the competition haven brushed aside stiff
competition from Dambo International School 46-40 at the end of the preliminaries for colleges in the Sabo Tasha division of Kaduna South in a match played recently at Queen Amina's court. The School is to square up with the winner from the southern part of Kaduna possibly from Kagoro area in the next phase.. The Parents Teachers Association has already sent in a congratulatory message on the sweet victory. Meanwhile a sports enthusiast in Kaduna state has made a presentation of a complete set of basketball canvass shoes to the team to enable it pursue the campaign. The representative of the enthusiast Mr. Isaac has meanwhile appealled to the students to exhibit high level of discipline throughout the competition. The games Master of the School Mr. Bulus plegded to do the School and friends proud by winning the trophy.

FOOTBALL
Dambo International celebrated her 21st. anniversary on 21st. March 2003. Imperial School engaged the School in a novelty football match to mark the occassion. The match ended 3-1 in favour of Imperial School. A friendly football match also took place between Imperial School and St. John's Catholic School Kateri in Kaduna state. The game was keenly contested and ended in favour of Imperial School 4-3. The match was played at Imperial School ground and was watched by students and visitors.
