OF THE MONTH: INDUSTRIAL / SITE VISITS
Series of industrial and other site visits
are usually planned for students during each term. On the
8th. of Feb. 2003 the Technical Drawing students went on
site visits to various construction sites to familiarise
themselves with the various topics which had been taught
in the class.
The
Geography Club also visited the Kagoro area of Kaduna state
on 29th. Feb. 2003. The essence was to see the DERIVED SAVANNAH
of the area as against the SUDAN SAVANNAH of Kaduna. The
Kagoro area has plenty of highlands which create perculiar
climatic conditions leading to OROGRAPHIC RAINFALL. The
students visited also the RIVER WONDERFUL WATERFALLS of
Kafanchan before returning to Kaduna in a trip described
as both exciting and educating.
